Places I’d like to visit

Hello everyone!

My dream is to visit Ireland. I want know and traverse them green landscape. In this place is all green, there are many clovers and wonderful trees for example: oaks, elms, holm oaks, etc. Green in all directions!!! In this place exits many natural parks whit many animal in especially the red fox (I love the foxes) It`s really beautiful.  

I want know the history of Ireland, the language, the architecture, the old clothes and I want eat theme traditional food (although I am vegetarian, maybe I only look a traditional food). Besides I want know the Celtic legends and stories about gnomes, leprechauns, elf, and magical creatures (and about golden pots)

I will like to travel with my boyfriend. He loves the nature and listens to stories of the magical creatures.

Well, I think that the best season for the travel is in the winter (Chile), because in Ireland is summer. We can look all the glory and magnificence of landscape.

For travel to Ireland, we take a plane. The travel has duration of 15 hours approximately.  We have a layover in Madrid and later we take a plane for Dublin.

My favourite piece of technology

Hello everyone!

My favorite piece of technology is my netbook Sony VAIO.

My netbook keeps everything that I like and love. Many digital books (science fiction, horror, fantasy, romance, etc.), music (death metal, Celtic music, folk metal, romantic, etc. I like almost everything, but I don’t like reggeton and cumbia), pictures and videos of my family, friends and my pets. Also in my spare time, I see TV shows, anime, read mangas and I play video games.

My netbook is already quite old. it has scratches, stains (my sister is the culprit) I even had to change the keyboard. All the same my netbook is running!!

Sometimes my netbook is very slow and makes me angry, but it always works.

Without my netbook my life would be very boring. Although it is old, I love it.

My new semester...

Hello everyone!

Well, this semester is very complicated for me, because I cannot have many subjects. I have to work. I'm Babysitting and some days I'll clean the house of a grandmother… I need money for my family.  L

My classes are Lenguaje y Comunicación 2, English 3 and sports (although I must eliminate them and thus have more time to work).

This year I wanted to take a workshop on "storytelling" but had no money. Now I am saving to take a first aid workshop and sign Chilean Language workshop. Wish me luck!

In my freetime I work with my friends and classmates in creating “Kamishibai” (story telling with images only) we will present these stories in children's gardens and schools where we have professional practice (well, I didn't even finish my career… Next year I have professional practice)

Next semester will be very difficult and many subjects. Now, I must take advantage of working and raise money.... Ufff!! Anyway I want to have fun and learn a lot.

Anyway, I did not complain, I have time to study.

This is me

Hello everyone!!!!

My full name is Roxana Medel Espinoza, but my family, my friends and some teachers call me Cochi.

I was born in Santiago, Chile in 1988. When I was born, my mom was surprised because she thought I was a boy.

Before my family only we were three. My mom (Ana Maria), my younger sister (Camila) and me. But now my sister is pregnant. We are very happy!

In my family we love animals. We have three dogs (Chibi, Milita and Neela) and two cats (Cata and Happy). Also in the house of my boyfriend, I have a dwarf rabbit (peludito). I am vegetarian 17 years ago. I love animals and I dream of having a cow (I'll call Clementina) and a duck (I'll call Doctor Cuack).

I finished high school in 2006, but I was sick a long time. In 2009 I started college. I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. In 2011 I got sick again. I returned to the University in 2012. this is my fourth year, and I'm so close to the finish and graduate next year.

I love reading, especially books of science fiction or fantasy. My favorite books are Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison, Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. Other authors I like are Jean Auel, Haruki Murakami, Tolkien, Jane Austen, Terry Pratchett, Lili St. Crow, etc. I also love children's books, especially Daddy long legs by jean Webster.
